SB2494 School Voucher Bill

Groundbreaking school choice bill that would offer opportunity scholarships to sutdents in Chicago's worst performing schools and also permit parents to use school vouchers will becoming up for another vote in the House.

This bill has already passed the Senate and is just 5 or 6 votes short of passing in the House despite very heavy lobbying against by the union.

The bill was defeated once in the House but on Wednesday was put on extended consideration which means

it will come up for another vote soon.

I have a list of all the republicans who voted with the unions and voted no ( we already know where the Dems.
