From deepfakes to declawing cats, 21 bills Illinois lawmakers are considering

SPRINGFIELD — In the first two months of the new legislative session, Illinois lawmakers did little to nothing of substance, mostly rolling through the motions in short weeks filled with little floor action and scant committee work.

Why Illinois Is in Trouble – High Paid Public Employees Cost Taxpay...

"In 2021, 26,904 educators earned six-figure salaries, while 16,592 retirees pocketed $100,000 pensions. That’s as test scores dropped, with only 31 percent of students reading at grade level. There were 18 school superintendents who made $300,000, and another 18 retired school superintendents received $300,000 in retirement pensions."

Check out the new "transparency" website launched by State Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka this week at http://ledger.illinoiscomptroller.com. Info galore on the state's fiscal condition, all the way down to searchable listings of state employee salaries (by name) and an online means of submitting a Freedom of Information Act request to the Comptroller's office. Illinois will never be the same. Imagine, if you can, such an initiative from an Illinois Democrat! Elections do have consequences.

I am confident about America's future.
With all the bad things (stifling free speech, "hate crimes", socialism, taxes, etc) happening to our country today from the left, I am confident that the right is experiencing a patriotic awakening which will ultimately win the American Culture War for free-market capitalism. I am pleased by the patriots such as Carol Ann Parisi.
