PALATINE BOND REFERENDUM
Referendum: November 2. District 15 $27 Million
Remember last spring when six local women stepped up and demonstrated democracy in action? They obtained 7,500 signatures in a one month period forcing District 15 to place their $27 Million dollar bond issue before the voters in November.
The are six reasons to vote NO, the main one being that the District says the money is for construction, but the bonds are proposed for the working cash fund which can be transferred by Board action to other funds, including the Education fund which pays salaries and benefits.
