Richard Burkhart, a conservative who just announced his intention to run for the District 220 School Board, is expected to attend our meeting on Thursday. If you reside in District 220 and would like to meet and perhaps help him by signing his nomination petition, or by circulating a petition to help him gather the necessary 50+ signatures, please take advantage of this chance to meet him. The petitions have to be filed before December 20, so we need to move fast. There are likely to be 6 or 7 candidates for 3 openings on the District 220 board in the April election.
