PETITION SIGNING PARTY FOR PATRIOTS

Event Description: Join volunteers from Awaken America in Schaumburg to sign ballot access petitions for Newt Gingrich and local slates of candidates for Newt to represent us at the Republican convention in Tampa next August.  We need volunteers to sign these petitions or help collect some more signatures in the days ahead.  They must be filed in Springfield in the first week of January, so this is the last chance to support this effort. Once again, this isn't an endorsement of Newt, or a promise to vote for him or the delegates committed to Newt.  Signing the petition just means that you think they should be on the ballot so that voters will be free to make the choice in the March 20 primary. Early voting starts Feb 27.  Be sure to check your voter registration now on the county clerk website, as districts and polling places may have changed.
