But now our elections are in the crosshairs and we are caught in the crossfire.  In both 2020 and in 2022 we saw countless examples of voter fraud and systematic problems that absolutely undermine voter confidence and disenfranchise Conservatives around the nation.   It is time to stand up and fight back.  No more lying down.  This is exactly what State Senator Amanda Chase is fighting for in Session.   In a press release this week, Senator Amanda Chase announced a new bill, SB884, which will at long last take a strong stance for Election Integrity in Virginia by placing safeguards around our Elections.

The press release reads:   SB884 The Voter Confidence Restoration Act recognizes that most Virginians don't trust our election processes and therefore the results. This bill understands the importance of restoring that confidence by getting back to the basics of election integrity and ensuring safe, transparent elections that all voters can trust.   SB884 addresses many of the concerns voters experienced during the 2020 Presidential Election and seeks to ensure these issues never happen again.   The Voter Confidence Restoration Act repeals provisions of the law permitting same day registration; requires a legitimate excuse to vote absentee in limited cases like active duty military serving overseas . Anyone who meets the limited criteria for voting absentee will have to notarize their mail in ballot.   Voter are encouraged to vote in person on Election Day and present a valid government issued photo identification. The 45 day election season is completely eliminated. Absentee drop boxes are completely eliminated.   All ballots must be received by the general registrar by 7pm, the close of polls on election day in order to be counted.   This Act requires presentation of a form of identification containing a photograph in order to vote; repeals the provisions of law permitting a voter who does not have one of the required forms of identification to vote after signing a statement that he is the named registered voter he claims to be.   The Voter Confidence Restoration Act eliminates the use of electronic poll books and voting machines and requires that ballots be manually tabulated in order to determine the results of an election.   An amendment will be added to the bill to eliminate the use of Soros sponsored Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) It is mission critical that we support legislation like this at all levels, from local elections all the way up to national elections. This is a key part of my operation in my run to replace Tim Kaine as Senator in Virginia.  We need strong Election laws nationwide that absolutely prevent the possibility of fraud while maintaining absolute transparency of the process. Senator Amanda Chase’s bill serves as an excellent template for many of the measures we need to take nationwide.  We need to: Disallow same-day registration Requiring notarization of mail-in ballots Require voter photo identification on election day Require manual vote counting These are simple.  These are common sense.  These will also form the foundation of an America with secure, transparent Elections.
